I got bored up in Mn when I stay in the hospital room with my g/f. Stayed there 10 nights in a row. Nothing to do much there so I drew alittle.

These are done in prisma colored pencils which is one of my favorite mediums to use. I am a major nature nut so thats basically all I draw when I have a choice.

The first drawing is of a Green and Black poison dark frog. It took about 6 hours or so to do. The second picture is of a Hercules beetle. It roughtly too about the same amount of time. It takes me so long because of how picky I am.

I drew them from pictures in "The Encyclopedia of Animals." This book is amazing. It has about 580 pages of mammals, birds, reptiles, fish, amphebians, and invertibrates. Doesn't have ever species but contains facts about hundreds if not thousands of species in the world. It was $40, but well worth it with all the informations regarding the habitats, conservation information, and facts regarding the different species. I hope ya like em! :main_thumbsup:

I used Prisma Colored Pencils! I love they way they blend in with each other. It takes a while to get use to how to work with them compaired to regular colored pencils. They are very expensive, usally over a dollar each pencil if you buy them locally!

Thanks! Yes I love the primsa colored pencils. I have been using them since I was 16, so alomost 12 years. I got introduced to them by my high school art teacher who has remained my favorite teacher. He was stubbern and we bumped heads alot but I learned so much from him. He tought me alot and my techniques are derived from his teachings
