curious what kind of camera you used to take those shots? and did you add additional lighting, or did you just use room lighting?

Just the original Digital Rebel (300D), but you don't need a fancy/expensive camera to get really good pictures. Having good lighting is way more important than the camera itself.

Soft-boxes require some sort of lighting to work. I used an external strobe flash (Alien Bees B400) that shines down onto the box from above, but they work with a number of light sources. The reason it works is because light bounces all over and gets softened by the translucent material...the result is flat, even lighting with no harsh shadows. If you look on eBay, they have all kinds of kits that come complete with lighting, etc.

Oh man, crossing the albino genes, that can get ugly:-/ got pics of their eyes?

I can imagine it would get ugly. I don't have pics of the parents, but I'll try to get some. Is there really any way to tell, though?

It could be hard to tell a SS Blizzard apart from a SS Blizzard that is also RW Albino, so that is my guess of what it could be.

Nice geckos by the way.:)

Why is that? Do they have darker eyes or something?

might be a good idea to become familiar with leopard geckos morph characteristics and also their genetics.

Yep...I got the morph wrong. Simple mistake, as I couldn't recall exactly what she was from the time I viewed the picture to the time I made the post. :main_rolleyes: It's a Tang. She's still amazing! :main_yes: Sorry about my mix-up, Anthony...

Robin,

Though I am not a moderator here, I wish that you would get control of yourself and let it be.

You posted in another section that you would not be posting anymore. So why are you still posting?

Please, consider the other people here and keep your personal stuff off the forums.

Just my2cents.

Anthony, you can usually get a very good idea of what strain of albino you have by the eyes. If you can post pics of the parents eyes, we can probably figure out what strains they are. As far as the blizzard theory, it is possible, SS blizzards do look very close to normal SS's when they hatch, but the odds of no one knowing that both parents were het blizzard, and them both turning out to be are pretty low. But then the odds of you having a Tremper het RW are also HOPREFULLY very low, because it would be saddening to know that people are doing this, and then selling them and not informing anyone of the genetic mess they made. If you have any questions at all dont be afraid to ask bud, ill help ya in any way I can
