bman123, if you don't have anything to add to the thread you should probably just leave.

How is it any morally better to breed mice, or even crickets to feed to our pets? It's not like one has a higher life value than another. Obviously it's just because leopard geckos are cute is what the problem is. I personally wouldn't do it, but I don't blame others who would. As long as nobody is tormenting an animal or inhumanely killing it, being eaten is a part of life.

Mice are cute too, Ketz... :). I think the issue is that we separate critters into pets and prey, and sometimes the line is blurred, and sometimes somebody might use a "pet" for "prey". The same person that finds leos so difficult as prey might be fine with anoles, who knows?

Now I gotta go, my golden retriever is about to have a litter. I'm very excited and have been waiting anxiously, cause my retic is hungry and I'm tired of driving around looking for stray cats...
