Started Paper Towel Trick

I started the paper trick yesterday, February 18. The paper is in the males and I look to get my Hypo ovulated.

1) How long should I leave the paper in with the male for?

lol exactly.. He will rub his scent glands on the paper...Marking his territory..

I genrally leave it in the male's cage for about three to five days. Plenty of time for him to do his markings.....after all, i am not about to sit there and watch him mark the paper.

yeah i usually leave in for about 3-5 days then i put it in with the females and leave it with the females for about 7-8 days

Ok so it's March 1st and still know ovulation from my female. Should i wait longer? She is definitely old enough (1 year 5 months). Is something wrong with the way I'm doing it?

I put the paper in the males tank for 5 days. I then transferred it to my females tank and it has been in their for 11 days as of today, March 1.

I agree with Keith, sometimes you just have to let it happen on its own. The trick isn't guaranteed to work, sometimes it just helps move things along.

Yeah the trick dosent always work, sometimes it takes afew attempts, i recomend useing computer paper because it holds the sent better.

Yup, I guess she's just not "in the mood" to ovulate...being patient sucks lol.
