Ok,so it;s still about that female that i talked about in this thread:
http://www.geckoforums.net/showthread.php?t=25685

She isn't that aggressive anymore(i put my hand in the cage every night and she even climbed on it a few times) but she spends ALL her time in her hide and if i want to feed her(she doesn't take the mealworm dish) i need to drop the food in front of her hide and lure her out,but she doesn't come out much so it's a bit of a hassle.
If i lift her hide she is totally stressed and doesn't eat at all.
So i am kind of afraid that she will lose weight or develop healt problems.

Anybody has a tip?

How long have you had her now and has she not eaten for?

How old/what size is she and does she have a nice fat tail?

Is her poop runny and smelly?

If she has not eaten for quite a while and is losing weight your best bet would be to bring a fecal sample into a vet for a parasite check or even better bring her in with a fresh fecal sample and let a vet have a look at her and the poop

If she is of good weight with a nice fat tail and not a young baby and he poop looks normal and is not stinky-then I would give her a while longer

Some are very stubborn about starting to eat when they have been moved

If you are really concerned-make that vet appointment for her to be seen to put your fears at ease

Just a thought--are you feeding her the same insects that the breeder was?

Good Luck with her

Since she's an adult she may take longer to settle in than a younger gecko would. You've only had her for about a week, right? I would probably try just leaving her alone for another week of two. Try leaving the mealies in the dish too, count them so you'll know if she's eating. We've had adults that have taken up to 6 months to work up a normal appetite.

If she's a new arrival and seems super stressed, give her time. She'll come around.

I've had good luck covering a couple sides of the tank. Remove a side after a week or so as she starts to get more comfortable. It'll let her settle to her new space with out the outside distractions.

Ok so yes she is an 2yr old adult, she still has fat tail and her poo looks fine.
I have her a little bit over a week now and only got her to eat like 3 superworms so far.
Everything i leave in the meali dish remains untouched(waxworms, supers, mealies).
So i mean yes she will probably get used to me some time but i at least want her to eat right asap.

Wow, I'm relieved to read how some adults can take months to eat normally after being in a new home. I, too, have recently acquired an adult. I've had him almost a month and I've yet to get him to eat anything. He just turns his silly head away from mealies and crickets! He likes to lick the water off the sides of his moist hide container when I squirt it, so at least I know he's getting hydrated. His tail is still fat and he's spunky as heck--he just won't eat! I'm about to try waxworms. I was hesitant to try them at first since I've read about how they're addicting and not healthy, but now I'm ready to buckle in order to get SOMETHING in his stubborn little tummy, the stinker!! :p ;)

Is your gecko an Albino? I have a Tremper Albino female. She weighs 30g. I purchased her 7 weeks ago. She eats just fine & poop is good too. But she doesn't like coming out of her Reptile Den. Not even at night. To hold her, I have to take out the reptile den & encourage her to come onto my hand. She is friendly & seems to like it when I hold her but when I put her back in her cage she heads straight for her den :( I know she's eating because my mealworms are either gone or a lot less in the morning.

I just think its the Albino. I heard they have sensitive eyes. On Tuesday I will be getting a Snow line Bred so I am looking forward to how much the new one is out & about in time.

Just be patient with your new gecko

If she has only been in her new home a week-you will be stressing her by trying to get her to eat if she is not ready to do so

Since she is of good weight and has a nice fat tail-I see np with her fasting until she is ready to eat
Just keep giving the type of insect fed by her previous keeper and I am sure that she will start to eat as soon as she feels secure in her new home

Are the temps warm enough for her over the uth?
