Strange feeding behavior

I've noticed some interesting feeding behavior from my gecko lately. After see eats a couple insects, she seems to do a curling motion with her body. It's a bit hard to describe, it's almost as if she turns her head and has a 'cold chill' run down her back. At first I wondered if she was having trouble swallowing her prey, but she is 5-6 inches in length and I'm feeding her mainly small to medium meal worms with the occasional small cricket. The feeders don't seem to be too large for her.

This has only recently began, I've kept her on the same diet since I bought her, 4 weeks ago. She first started 'curling' about 4 days ago, and seems to be doing it more often now. She's eating well and deficating on a regular basis. What could cause this odd feeding behavior and should I be concerned?

Mine do it often when they eat several crickets in a row. I think they're just swallowing and pushing it down, similar to what we might do if we've taken too many bites of something and we get that full feeling in the throat (at least I do, maybe you always eat slowly). To give it some perspective, I once picked up one of my females right after I'd fed her about 4 crickets to see if she was gravid. When I put her down, she threw up 3 of the crickets and at least 1 of them was still moving, so it does take awhile for them to get all the way into the stomach.

Ah thank you, that's reassuring. She does eat a bit ravenously (if that's even a word). I'm glad it's nothing to worry about.

Mine do the same thing when they eat to fast. Kind of like a hard swallow. Then they always wait a few minutes before wanting more. My Blizz will stalk the worm around his tank untill he's ready to eat again.
