Strange pairing.

Okay, so i have a smoking got Afgan halloween mask female.. she started ovulating and i dont have a male afgan yet.. so i was think.. what would be a different pairing.. so i searched and searched.. and this is what im going with.

anyone tried this before?

They are fine.. the afghans are a smaller subspecies and she is the female. the male is the w/y and they tend to not have super fat tails.

They DO look tiny, but its hard to tell with pictures - you cant compare their size to anything.

I dont think thats correct sir...atleast not by my experience, but that tail looks thin.

breeding an underweight male is going to be stressful. you'll be lucky if you don't lose him. many times males go off feed during breeding; without good reserves of fat, that can be fatal.

that's probably wise. hopefully you can get some good weight on him and maybe pair them in the near future!

What have you been feeding him? My w/y has a huge tail. Maybe you can try another feeder and see if that helps. I've had to do that with enigmas.

BTW~That should be a nice pairing. I'm hoping to pair mine up with some fascio and montanus stuff in the future.

Well ive only had him a few weeks he eats ok just doesnt seem to be putting on a lot of weight.
