Here are 2 babies born this weekend. Father is Mack snow het eclipse, mother is tang albino stripe. I'm wondering mostly about the white stripe down the back which to my mind is neither a normal stripe nor a reverse stripe. ALso, Alberto had a picture of a very similar looking gecko a few years ago (http://geckoforums.net/showthread.php?t=3788&highlight=eclipse - 2nd picture) which he said was a snow. I can't imagine these babies are snow because they're so yellow. Someone on another thread posted a similar one as well (http://geckoforums.net/showthread.php?t=61475) and there was a suggestion that it could be a snow. What do you think? I'd be inclined to call them just stripe or patternless stripe. They also have very dark eyes but it's too early to tell for sure if they are eclipse.

hmm maybe a hypo stripe? maybe some reversed stripe? which will of courses in this case end up in a patternless stripe. i cant be sure but those could be snows. is this what they looked like when they hatched? i would definitely hold on to these!

One was born 6/18 and one 6/19. I still don't see how they can be snows if they're that yellow. I produced a hypo stripe Mack snow last season that was born much whiter. I don't have a picture of her as a hatchling, but here's how she turned out:

At what temps did u incubate them in usually if incubated at low temps the colors will be a little darker then normal maybe that why they are more yellow the normal. they look real nice

I agree with Damian, I think their colors are muted because they were either incubated at cold temperatures, are being kept at cold temperatures, and/or were caught sleeping and photographed before they fully woke up. I've noticed that some of my hypo/jungle babies change colors dramatically when they're sleeping to when they're fully awake.

I think that dorsal stripe will fade and not be as noticeable once they get a little older, warm up, or go hypo on you. Those are very pretty geckos! Congratulations!

Thanks. They were incubated at the lower end (81-82) but all my geckos are and these are less yellow than usual. I assume you all agree that they are not snows. The photo was taken outside and they are this color all the time.

They don't look like snows to me, I would expect codominant snows to be more white/gray tinged than yellow. However, I will admit I've never worked with the snow trait before, but I have looked at plenty of pictures. They look like they're very pretty geckos who were incubated at a fairly low temperature. I've hatched several in past years that looked like them before I began incubating at slightly higher temperatures to prevent the dark colors.

Here's an update after a month of the one on the left (I think). The other one was in shed. I'm really happy about how they're turning out and so far the white dorsal stripe remains:
