Hi all I am having a bit of trouble with my gecko and stuck shed. He has shed in one eye - I can see it, its like grey goo, but I dont really know how to get this out safely. I've been bathing him in water and he's been opening his eyes under water and licking, but its not helped. Been doing this about 2 weeks now and he is not eating in the meantime. I've been bathing both eyes with repta rinse - just rolling a sopping qtip over his eyelids and trying to get a bit under his eyelids. The other eye I got a long piece of stuck shed out a few days ago and there is a very slight trace of blood when I bathe that eye. He half opens that eye sometimes. He is now going to shed again. I've really upped the humidity and im still bathing him and putting repti rinse on his eyes. Should I wait til he's shed again? or do i need to take him to a vet? I've had him nearly 10 yrs and the same thing happened a couple of years ago and i managed to get the stuck shed out.
