I have 2 MSST females one is gaining weight like hell the other is not. I heard it once that some SS are not gaining weight as fast as other Leopardgeckos do.

I have also heard this somewhere. My male mack snow came to me at 11 months and 48 grams, which I think is a bit low. It's now 2 years later and he's still long and lanky at 70 grams. I kept one super snow holdback who was born the end of August. So now she is 7 months old and 30 grams, which I think is on the small side. She's well proportioned and has a fat tail for her size. Her problem, I think, is that she's a really lousy hunter. I have to hold the crickets and even the superworms for her and she still misses. I don't know if this is more than anecdotal evidence. I had several non Macks last season who took awhile to catch on to eating, but I sold them once they got better at it and before I could see how they did after 6 months.

Mack Snows and Super Snows not gaining weight and not getting as big as the other morphs was more of a problem when they first came out, than it is now. There are still some that are smaller, I have a SSTA male that’s at about 45 grams and doesn’t like to get above 55 at best. And as others in this thread stated they have their problems with their growth and size as well. But, I don’t believe it is anything to really worry about at this point.
