Paul,

Has anyone hatched out a SS tremper patternless? That seems like it would be an awesome gecko.

not announced, but I would think a few are on the way or hatched already.

Sean Niland had mack tremper patty, you know he will be selling the supers soon enough.

Here's a ss patty male that I picked up in Daytona this past year. They're definately not solid white, but they are interesting looking.

OOO I see..are they just solid white as youngins or is it just based off the particular individual?

I have a Patternless Mack Super Snow project on the go!

I have two breeding weight Mack Snow Patternless geckos set aside for this project. I'm just waiting for the female to ovulate and I should be getting ...

25% Homozygous patternless,
50% Het. snow, Homozygous patternless,
25% Homozygous snow, Homozygous patternless,

I think the Mack Snow Patternless is one of the coolest geckos on the market. It seems that every time I open the tub they have a different coloration. They go from a yellow on grey to an off white to dark grey depending on the time of day, temperature and mood.

Very cool!!

Mack Snow Patternless hatchlings have the typical Patternless blotches on the head and neck. They do not have the yellow coloration of the Patternless though. Instead they are mostly grey in appearance with different shades of grey depending on temperature or mood.

The Super Snow Patternless hatchling will have the typical Super Snow black eyes with white dorsal stripe and to a lesser degree the Patternless blotches that fade as the animal ages. The characteristic Super Snow pinstripes will be visable but they are usually pink in color (see picture above). :main_thumbsup:

Like Paul said Sean Niland has some great pictures on his website...

SS is the "homozygous" form of the snow gene. Once you also get the SS to express another gene it becomes known as a Super Snow whatever.

Your gecko is indeed the genetic morph called blizzard and that bred to a supersnow would give you snow het blizzard. From there you would cross the offspring back together and 1 in 16 would be a super snow blizzard as genetics dictates.

Ah, interesting. I am not planning on breeding yet but would love to I just don't know much about it, heres another question, when is it possible for the female to breed? at full grown? because I also have a male normal leo that is close to 7 years old! what kind of offspring would I see then? thanks
