When this guy was born, I felt sure it was a super snow tremper because it has no bands.

But as it has grown up, I am doubting this because of the pattern developing. He is also tremper w/y poss het eclipse & Pos het mp

I can't tell whether or not it's Mack snow at all because the hatchling picture is so small. If it hatched beige and white as opposed to beige and yellow it's a Mack snow. It's not a super snow. It's a stripe. Stripes hatch with the darker markings in a vertical pattern instead of horizontal bands. It's the most extreme form of broken side-to-side bands. You can see from the tail that there are broken bands.

Thanks! Here are some more pics. It didn’t have any white, but only slightly lighter/darker patches. Is the reverse stripe something that can just show up in this combination without being present in the parents?

If one parent was a snow and one was a super snow then all the offspring will be either snow or super snow. I think the stripe gene may be polygenetic and not a simple dominant or recessive. I've probably had banded geckos hatch from 2 geckos with stripe characteristics (can't be sure right now and don't want to go over 13 years of breeding data to check). Your parent geckos may have appeared banded but could have stripe genes as well. Or, sometimes a gecko is "aberrant" meaning that there is a slight breaking in the horizontal bands of the tail or the body but not both. By the time the gecko is an adult, that pattern might no longer be visible.
