I'm using it right now. Nothing has hatched from it yet, but the eggs all look good. I haven't had to add any extra water yet either. I have eggs due to hatch in about 2 weeks.

I saw the stuff as well and was wondering how well it worked. Keep us posted on the outcome.

My first egg hatched from it this morning. Everything seems good. The egg was incubated at 89 degrees. I didn't measure the water and never had to add any extra. I opened the container 1-2 times a week to add some air. I like it so far.:)

Ive been using it before Allen came out with "Superhatch" I use Aquatic pond soil wich is the same thing, its really nice because you can tell when its moist or dry by the color change, and it holds in water for months!! The great thing is you dont have to deal with any ratios

Marc-can you explain what you mean about not having to deal with any ratios?

Is it pre-moistened or did you mean that you did not have to add any addition water after mixing ?

I compared prices and if these are the same in composition-the pond soil is much cheaper

Thanks
Sandy

My 2nd egg hatched from it, too.

With the superhatch, you just add water and let it sit for a few minutes. Then you just dump the extra water on top. No measuring needed.:) The wet superhatch has a different color than when it's dry.

I did just have my first death using superhatch, but I doubt it had anything to do with it. I've hatched 4 babies using it so far with no problems.:)

Are you sure you are supposed to add water to Super Hatch? It does not mention adding water any where in the set up instructions on the package.

My mistake I am thinking of Hatch Rite......any idea if you have to add watch to Hatch Rite?
