Anyone raise them? I'm trying, but they won't pupate...would warmer temperatures help? I put them on a 1-5 gal mat in a 5 gal tank, separated into dixie cups. I had them in an unheated box for a week and nothing happened...am I just being impatient or do you think the heat will speed things up?

I've had my supers for like...6-8 months, I opened the bin one day and a giant beetle popped out at me..but he's all alone, I have not had any other supers turn in to beetles.

I think you're doing it just fine. I have heard though that they need to be in total darkenss - like in a closet or cabinet. You could try that and leave them for a week or two. I don't really know the time it takes for any of the stages to happen, but I'm sure that if you Google it you can find it.

I tried googling it...and got what should be done but not how long it'll take. I'd heard about the darkness but I forgot. During the week they were at room temperature they were also in total darkness..they're not now that I've moved them. I guess I can try that.
