swiching males on one feamale

if i were to breed one male with my female and she laid a clutch and i wonted to change to another male will the second males sperm be the one fertilizing the eggs or will it still be the first males

I think it's likely but not guaranteed that the new male's sperm will fertilize the eggs. It would be best in that case if you used a male where the hatchling's morph would tell you for sure which male fathered it, (or where it doesn't make a difference, like using 2 Tremper albino males) so you can be clear on the genetics.

It could be either, if you insist on switching male I suggest using one with completely different genetics so the you will know which offspring come from which sire. For example, if you bred tremper x tremper first, use a second sire that is neither tremper nor het tremper.

I wouldn't say its the most ideal situation.

I would chose two male that will have distinctly different offspring to be able to tell the the gene difference.
