Tail tip

My female got done sheading last night, her tail tip looked a bit irateted, Just checked on her today and it Shrivled up and got hard, i put some peroxcide on it, can anyone tell me what it is?

Should i continue to put peroxside on it?

It may somehow have gotten burned if there's a hot spot on the floor, or else maybe when she was trying to get the shed off she bit at it too much. You don't need to do anything to it as long as she's on a clean non-particle substrate. Eventually the tip will fall off, but if it's really just the tip, her tail will look normal, maybe not quite as pointy as it was originally. I had the same thing happen to one of my hatchlings and she's fine now, just not quite as pointy.

Same thing happened to me, it fell off but she still looks pretty, its only the tip =)

Don't worry,the same thing happened to my leo.Don't know why but the very tip of her tail got hard and eventually shrivelled up and after a couple of sheds you couldn't even tell.Her tail looks fine now
