I just wanna know how in the world do you take close up of your leos eyes. I tried and can't, first it doesn't sit still long enough and then I can't focus my camera to get those awesome eye shots by the way I was trying to get a pic of my albinos eyes since you need to see the eyes to make a better guess well that didn't go too well.I guess I will just compare to the others on here and make and educated guess.

From what I've heard, you need to take a pic of the head and crop the part where the eyes are. I've never tried it before though. Correct me if I'm wrong please.

That is how we do it. We take one as close of the head ( eye) as we can then use the crop feature on the camera. It usually takes me a few tries to get a descent head shot to crop it. Good Luck.

If you have a camera that allows you to select a fixed focal point you can more easily focus on just the eye area. Most point and shoot cameras have the face detection feature that automatically chooses different focal points but if you can manually change it to focus on only the center of the frame you'll get less blurry eye shots.

try a macro lense or the macro setting on the camera if that feature is available. then get a shot of the head as close as posible and in as good a focus as u can and crop it. like so:

crop & refocus:

crop again & refocus for the final:
