Light box? How does that work cause my camera is HORRID at taking pic of Eros esp if I haev to use a flash. Your pix are beautiful BTW. Really captures the bold colors of your herps.

It might need just a bit more front light. Still picking up some shadow. Very pretty pictures though. The colors look great.

They look very nice. I would suggest not using the flash on your camera though. That is what is producing the double shadow affect. Either way they are very nice pictures.

Thanks everybody for your comments. I personally like the effect of the slight shadow cause in this way the pictures don't look too artificial.
I use a Fuji S5Pro(great camera and it's a real pity Fuji is not going to produce a follow-up modell) and a Nikon SB-800 as a slave flash.

Sounds good to me. Not like they look bad with it...I was just saying that because typically light boxes are use to help reduce shadows and provide a seamless backdrop. Very nice work though.
