Texas brown snake

just got one and was wondering what they eat?

Do you have a scientific name?, im guessing thats the Dekays snake.. They are found in most US states. If thats what it is, its likely to be wild caught and have parasites. They are bug eaters,earthworms,crickets, etc.. would be what they eat..

(Storeria dekayi texana)so can i feed them superworms or pinkie mice?

Well assuming they are pretty much the same as the ones here, they are insectivores so soft bodied insects like cricks are best.. You could feed them pinkies but probly not best as a staple, maybe once in awhile..

well i gave it back to the guy i got it from cuz dad said no snakes
