I would just like to say, the little juvie gecko I have been hand feeding the Golden Gate Gecko slurry has eaten its first cricket by itself this morning! The strike it over (hopefully).
I am very happy we have this awesome slurry receipe available!

Handling.

I've seen that a lot of people have leopard geckos, and i'm just wondering about handling and the colour. I only brought her home yesterday, and she's around a month old. I've read many gecko care sheets and it says to leave them for up to 2 weeks to settle in before handling, whereas the breeder said that it'd be a good idea to handle for awhile every day, so she can get used to me. What would you suggest? Also when i held her tonight i noticed that her dark brown bands are turning pale, is this just her shedding, something else or should i be worried?
Thank you, Georgia and Nala :)

Give your leo a week or so to settle in before handling. Then try to handle a few times a week working your way up to daily, dont over stress the leo. The fading is probably a shed, have your humid hide ready.
