Did any of you guys catch that special on national geographic explorer about giant snakes? They tested an anacondas "squeeze" force while it was constricting its prey (in this case a large duck) with a pressure pad. It measured it up to 90 lbs per square inch. PER SQUARE INCH. The scientists calculated this up to the equivalent of a man having a school bus on his chest, about 9,000 lbs of force. WOW. They also did a lot of other tests on the limits of a giant snake's jaws. They now believe that the larger snakes especially 20+ feet in length are capable of swallowing very larger prey even adult humans. They even showed some documented attacks and fatalities too. I was amazed. These big serpents are really freakin strong!
