I've been out of the herp hobby for a decade at least, and recently I realized I miss my leos. Looking around, imagine my surprise at how tough it was to find a plain ol' "normal." Back when I was your age, we were happy to see a jungle phase!
Anyway, I started tracking down normals, and I realized something else - why get a normal normal?
Afghanicus proved tough to find, so I went with a nice F2 ssp. fasciolatus.
This is my new girl from Golden Gate Geckos. Keep in mind that this animal is one week past six months of age! She weighs in at well over 50 g.
I'm going to buy a saddle and bridle as she'll probably be large enough to ride to work by early summer.
