I'll put my money on MS Raptor Enigma...

All of the Tremper Enigma pics I've seen were brighter as hatchlings other than a couple between you and Alberto, but they were obviously premature or runts (which are usually muted in color) because they were so small... That leads me to believe the muted color on this one is due to the Mack Snow gene...

Yeah it needs to be proved out yadda yadda yadda, but congrats you guys rock!

With it having MACK blood couldn't pastel also be involed also giving the same cast in color ?.Though being enigma i still think in albino form for a mack hatching the pink and white rule still aplys. And there is color on it so i'm thinking more on the lines of albino eclipse enigma no mack most likly a pastel influence giving a dilute look.

Gazz, you ought to leave these debates to the Morphs and Genetics forum... Let's play nice...

I want to know what's going to come out of the other eggs! :main_yes:

You are definetly entitled to call it whatever you want Gazz.....
But I think we all know what people mean when they refer to a RAPTOR...or RAPTOR eyes.....I agree maybe we should refer to them as "banded" raptors..."jungle" raptors....."hybino" raptors...if we want to be more precise. But I also believe we need to make it as simple as possible for people....so that the public is not intimidated by a long drawn out name. I know that the name you are speaking of using is, in your mind, being very accurate.....but I think we have to be realistic and try to keep it simple and "fun"....
For instance, do you say a piece of furniture consisting of a smooth flat side, fixed on legs?...or do you say table?.....
If a chihuahua has long hair....isn't it referred as a "long haired chihuahua".....
My opinion, again,..... you are entitled to think and do as you like....I am not saying you are right or wrong.....your opinion is your opinion. Mine is to keep it simple ....especially when a name is so thoroughly ingrained in the hobby already (and in my mind gives props to the man that has worked so hard to bring this morph to us). And besides...it's kind of catchy dont you think? JMO

Marcia...I spoke to Matt about this animal....the father was a non-albino enigma het raptor (who's father was a solid eyed raptor and the mother was an enigma)...mother was a mack het raptor...at least in layman's terms. And for the record...I certainly meant no disrespect to anyone for their opinions on the subject. Sorry if it was taken differently.

I want it to be known that my last reply was nothing more than my interpretation of what a NOVA is. I like it whether it's a raptor, Nova or the good ship lollipop and Congrats once again on an amazing NOVA;)

Ofcourse there maybe a little truth in all that's been said and as said in a past post the maker get the trophy name of what the morph will mainly be know as.

And no you don't say just table :D this will result in a carpenter who has spent hours on his work pulling off one of his table legs and hitting you :p there are meny woods and meny styles all with there long drawn out names if tables was living they would be morphs. So you will get no where just saying table. It would be more like i would like a oak farmhouse table with bowed legs and a rustic polish finish'etc'etc :main_thumbsup: .

And an even furthur side note I love the threads like this where those who are more ept in the ways of the eublepharis macularis.... Please continue to bless me with your knowledge,:main_thumbsup: :main_yes:

Thanks, Mike! Who did the parents belong to, Matt or Alberto?

ok here is the genetics of the parents frist the male

he was an Enigma het raptor {from Miami Mike} its parents were ( F Enigma unknown if het for anything X M solid red eyed Raptor)

ok now the tricky part there are 4 females in the group all females were hatched here by me .
the father to all the females is my Mack snow het Raptor Hatched By alberto Jan of 06 its parents were (M solid red eyed Raptor X F Mack Super snow)

Female 1. Albino Mack snow 50% poss het Raptor ( M Mack het Raptor X F giant albino)

Female 2 Mack snow het albino 50% poss het Raptor ( M Mack het Raptor X F giant albino)

Female 3 Albino Mack snow 66% poss het Raptor ( M Mack het Raptor X F patternless stripe het RAPTOR)

Female 4 Albino Mack snow 66% poss het Raptor ( M Mack het Raptor X F aptor het RAPTOR)

Female 4 came from the pairing that i hatched my Mack Raptor from
Females 3,4 all so are from the pairings the i hatched all of my mack stripes and reverse stripes and mack eclipses (most of those girls now live in Florida:D )

Matt hatched the gecko (NOVA) but we are 50% partner of this poject. The parents belong to us but we did not hatch all of them, like Matt said, the father is from Mike.

ok the odds

Females 1,3, and 4
1 of 2 enigma
1 of 2 mack snow
1 of 2 albino
if Female is het Raptor
1 of 4 Raptor
if female is not het Raptor
none will be Raptor

so IF the female is het Raptor
= 1 of 32 Mack enigma Raptor
= 1 of 16 enigma Raptor

female 2

1 of 2 enigma
1 of 2 mack snow
1 of 4 albino
IF Female is het Raptor
1 of 4 Raptor
IF female is not het Raptor
none will be Raptor

so IF the female is het Raptor
= 1 of 64 Mack enigma Raptor
= 1 of 32 enigma Raptor

so the average for the group
lets just say isnt good hahahah after i just was thinking about it for an hour :main_thumbsup:

Either way, It definitely looks an Enigma Rapor to me.... an awesome animal. Having seen a Tremper Enigma produced by A&M a few months back in person, I can say that this one is way more subdued color wise and may lead to the belief that it is also a Mack, but I would always wait for them to prove it out. I know Matt and Alberto know what they are doing and looking at, so we should probably wait and see as it develops before assuming anything. They have been producing killer Snow Enigmas and Tremper Albino Enigmas already this season, and I hope to have something half as nice as that eventually.
