I am so impatient when I know a gecko is due to hatch. It's even worse when one is hatching. I can't wait for it to get out. I like it better when they hatch overnight. I have an egg hatching right now from my mack het tremper by super snow het tremper. She only laid 2 eggs and this is the last one to hatch. I have 2 more eggs due later this week. I'm so glad I have things going on to keep me busy. I hope I'm not the only one like this.

I check the incubator in the basement every hour when I know something is going to hatch. Right now I have a 2 week wait after 2 weeks of intense gecko hatching so I only check it about twice a day. Believe me you're not alone.

You are dfeinitly not alone, I have stayed up for 24 hours straight waiting for an egg to hatch!! When eggs are due, we can't help but check the incubator every 30 minutes, it drives us crazy!! We're homebodies though, I'm sure if we were gone more often, we wouldn't be so crazy about it all, lol ;)

Congrats on the beautiful SS!!!

I drive my wife crazy the amount of times I check the eggs each day when they are due. I start around day 50 for females untill they hatch. For Males I start at day 30. The rest of the time I check once a day to check moisture and let fresh air in.

Congrats on the SS :)

I know. When babies are due, I hang around the incubator. I have to check them a hundred million times a day....to be realistic, twice per hour. Then I can't wait to go to sleep, because they usually are hatched in the morning, or when you get back from a long day someplace. But when they are due, I sleep all day to make time pass quickly, and so I won't mess with them.

Last year, I suffered through a church convention...I hated it...I was taking over for my mom that day and the people were rude and took advantage of a 18 yr old. Eight hours later, I checked my incubator, and I didn't know the temperature or nothing, so I didn't know when the egg was due, and there was a little brown baby waiting for me!!! A SHTCT x Blizzard.

My first baby!!! Today, she still is mean.

I'm glad I'm not the only one.:) Now I have more due in a few days, so the waiting starts again.
