Thermostat ...

I've had a bunch of different questions lately, and I want to to thank everyone so much for helping me with everything!

That being said, i've got a quick question. With a proportional thermostat, do I need to disconnect the heat source that came with the Hovabator? And if so, then how? Thank you!

Turn the heat source on the incubator up all the way. Plug the incubator into the proportional thermostat and plug that into the wall. The proportional thermostat will control everything. You may find when you first get the incubator up to speed that the temps aren't stable, but in my experience, it evens out after a day. A few hours after I plugged mine in for the year the other night it was swinging between 77.5 and 81.0. Now it's holding steady where I want it.
