It makes it tough. I will say that the two I have didn't have any black when hatching though, so that's something to look for. This "black" has started to show up more recently and I'm guessing it was like that with Steve's, too. I have always thought that albino leopard geckos couldn't have any black and always assumed the dark was brown. But these two of mine are different than any others I've had. I think when someone has any questions with theirs, I'll have them share a baby pic along with a current pic to help id.
