I really meant the emphasis to be on the "things going well" because right at the moment everyone is eating well, pooping and everyone's colors look good, even the breeders. I just figured it's good to share good news as well as bad news. The "almost" part is that 4 of my last 5 hatchlings have hatched out at term and not survived. The last 2 were from the same clutch. I found each of them within hours of hatching, dead, with yolk sacs still attached. One of them had deformed front limbs with digits missing. The other 2 hatched while I was away and a friend (with experience) removed them from the incubator and put them where I had told her to. When I got back a few days later, they were both dead. The third hatchling she removed was fine. hard to know whether or not I could have done something. It's disheartening, but I can't think of anything I'm doing wrong, and the hatchlings that are surviving look pretty good.
