I have about 3000 beatles and couldnt tell you how many baby worms I have but at this time I use bran as the bedding. The worms go through the bran pretty fast, because of the pro gecko being a better food will it last longer than the bran or should I mix it in with bran.
The gutload should last a little longer than the bran as the bedding. Smaller mealworms consume a lot of food because they are growing. That in combination with the beetles, it goes quicker.

I use bran- oat and wheat, also dog food and some vegetables like carrots or spinach.

So once it becomes like hard and doesn't move.
The pupae are cream colored and soft bodied. They are often referred to as "aliens" because they kind of look like one. From that they emerge as beetles and within a few days their shell hardens.

So how long does the pro gecko gutload last in open air before expiring?
The gutload can last quite a while. As long as you keep it in an air tight container it can be several years. The biggest problem is usually pest bugs but an air tight seal eliminates that problem.

I meant, if I have the gutload as bedding in open air ( no cover) how long will it last before spoiling

If you're using it with a lot of feeders it probably won't last long. Even then, it should still last at least a year. Open air can cause it to stale but I've found that has never stopped the feeders from eating it. When I ship the gutload it's as fresh as possible.
