Why is it that some people call their Bell Hybinos Bell "Sunglows"? I was the first one to hatch out a Bell Hybino and I called it a hybino from the start. Here she is BTW-

I was just curious why people would suddenly start calling them Bell Sunglows. Any ideas?

I think that Sunglows may sound more catchy? Thats the only reason i could think.... She looks awesome though!

I suppose its not different than RW "sunglows" or Tremper Sunglows not from TUG. I'd bet LFL is probably right people might think it helps them sell better, maybe cause they aren't just SHCT and SHTCT, either way most of the Hybinos now a day are in fac SHTCT/B yet any some are from TUG. My 2 cents

Maybe you could start a section with identifying pictures from all of the top breeders so newbies know what they are looking at. I have no clue how a "sunglow" is even happens.

I call them "sunglows" because I got them from Garrick, and that's what he calls them. If I had gotten them from you, Kelli (wish I had), then I'd probably call them "hybinos". Sorry to be such a fool, Rob. Didn't know I would offend anyone with a name.

I also got my first Bell "Hybino" from Garrick, who lists them as Sunglows. This was my first gecko purchase and it was from a big breeder. So I was using the name that I thought was correct. Being new who was I to know "right" from "wrong". Maybe we should just drop all the catchy little names and call them shtctb or whatever . Look at all the other little marketing names. You could have two of the same looking geckos but if it's not from one specific breeder then you shouldn't use that title. If I buy from someone like Kelli and cross with something from A&M and get something that looks like one of Kelli's what should I call it?
