I have two females, of which one has the bulges of a male, but not the pores. The first pic is of her, and the second is of my other female that doesn't show any bulges. What are your thoughts of why the first has the bulges?

They have been together for 6-7 years+ and she doesn't have any pores. The other has never produced eggs, and the tail doesn't vibrate or whatever the male's does. The bulges confuse me!!!

i wanna say its a boy but males have the pores which i dont see any on that gecko. so thats really weird. i dont know have you observed any mating behavior with the other female?

any more experienced breeders know what to call a female with some male parts possibly?

no mating behavior. It is just as docile as the female. Is this what they call a high-temp female or something? I heard that phrase before, although I am not sure what it means....

a high temp female is a female that hatches out that was incubated to be a male. i think i had a high temp female once she didn't want to breed and i think she had slight bulges too and she wasn't the nicest gecko either. sometime high temp females are not very nice. thats just what i know about them whether they show male traits is questionable.

I don't know. she is too fat to tell :p. But, as I said before, NO mating behavior and no eggs. She is 6-7+ years, as is the other one. They have never gotten into fights or anything, and no eggs or anything have ever shown up. I know she is a female, I am just wondering why she has bulges like a male.
