The tile I have in my tanks has a small crack that goes around 2 sides of it between it and the tank, where it doesn't exactly fit. What do you do to fill that in so the geckos can't crap down there and worms and roaches climb down there and the gecko not be able to get them? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

A lot of people stuff paper towel in there - I had a problem with mealies getting under the towel, so my current solution is clay (just plain ordinary pottery clay) -- there's a very tiny crack around the perimeter of the tile because of shrinkage, and I had to do the moisten-patch-massage thing to fill in a few gaps/cracks while it dried, but I think the solution is good enough, and my leo seems satisfied :)

If you decide to use paper towels, wet them first so when they dry they get hard like papier mache. I've done that for the cracks around the background of my exoterra so the day geckos don't get back there.

good idea about wetting the paper towel. I didnt think of that. I have the same tile problem. Im just worried about cleaning. I try to clean the tiles off once a week. Does the clay make it hard to take the tile out? I would rather use the clay for a better look.
