Time between?

Hi there,

I have had my 7th hatchling of the year hatch out over the weekend (Saturday to be precise) and the other egg from the clutch still hasnt started to hatch and we were wondering when we should start to intervene?

I have heard of people cutting their eggs open carefully, but know no more on the time that they have left the gap etc. I am tempted to just leave it and let "nature take its course" but we have already lost one hatchling and don't want to lose another. :main_huh:

Thanks for any advice in advance,

Bryan Graham

Never mind, a half hour search through the forum brought me to the conclusion that it can be 3-4 days between eggs hatching from the same clutch, so I have a few days before its an issue.

The Enigma we hatched on Saturday wasn't due until next Monday so we may be waiting over a week for the other egg. Only time will tell! I'm my experience, it's best not to cut open eggs.

Thanks for the replies (sorry mine was delayed, we have no net at home), she hatched last night at midnight and is a lovely little Mack Snow. :D
