I purchased this guy a while back and did see him in person about a month ago, but the breeder wanted to hold onto him for a bit to make sure he was well started. I got to take him home!! YAY Unfortunally I purchased him as a gift for my partner Ken and he will be going there soon. :(

Not easy to take pics of since he's just now trying to settle in. He's also not used to being in a tub, his other home will be ready in a day or two.

Ummmm don't know much about him/her other than his care. Ken and I wanted one as a display animal, not for breeding, so I never asked. I guess I could ask the breeder if you would like that info.

He was kept in a critter keeper, so he's used to having an open view. I got a small glass tank about 3 gal that is taller than it is wide so he has some room to grow with it.

ok fe awesome!! we keep ours in a serilite i cant remember what they are called but its not a shoe box it is taller. you will notice on how little they move LOL and if he seems stressed in the three gallon go to something smaller. sometimes too big can stress then out especially when they are young. i am assuming that guy was born this year sometime.

:D Will do.

I'm keeping my distance with this little one, I saw Russ' bite pics. ;) He's got all the peace and quiet he can ever want, only handling will be for cleaning.

YAY He/She ate!!!

I tried feeding the little one like was told. I heated up the pink and tapped him in the nose with it. He ran from me!!!! lol I don't think he liked it. I ended up give the pinks to the little corn Ken gave Zach. Well tonight was feeding time again for the corn and so I tried to feed the little one again. Nope wanted nothing to do with it. So I gave up, put him in a deli cup and left the pink with him......ummmmm guess what....... pinky all gone!!! :D

Notice lump under head and to the right. :)

lol Thanks guys!! That is how I feed the little corn so I figured it was worth a try with this one. I had gone back in there to look and the pink was still in there and I almost took it from him at that time, but I'm glad I waited.

Shanti, One of the pastels ate for me just a few min ago.....waiting for the other one to as well. :)
