A black whole is a combination between the 1. Mack Snow Gene 2. Eclipse Eye Gene, and 3. Then enigma gene.

Neither of the ones seems to have the enigma gene in them, so that is ruled out. They both have mack, and my guess is that it has the mack gene. Then it can't have the eclipse gene, as only one parent carries that gene, so I don't know how it has the black eyes.

So no, it might look like a black hole, but genetically it isn’t. Sorry.

The first definetly looks enigma and eclipse eyed. I have had a few enigma macks hatch out with very dark eyes only to fade to a darker normal looking eye in a few weeks. But of the two....the first looks the most "BEE" like to me....and definetly mack too. Would have to see another pic from the top too of the second though....but it too looks mack and enigma from that shot.

He might be an enigma, but in your pairing, you didn't say either of them where. Was one of the parents an enigma? Also could you post pics of the parents?

Nick, He was trying to say mack het tremper ENIGMA male, which make that cross unable to produce mack eclipse enigma(BLACKHOLE) unless the male is het eclipse too.

Oh, okay, so yeah enigma I thought it was weird that he looked that way, without the enigma gene. But yeah, he can't have the eclipse gene unless both parents carry it.

Can you explain to me how I can see the diference between a BEE and a "black hole" ?

Now, you can see father and mother ...

They are both Mack Snow Enigmas (also called BEE's if they have solid eyes). "Black Holes" are Mack Snow Eclipse Enigmas..I believe.

edit: Ok, see this is why I don't like renaming combo morphs...I can't keep them straight! So Mack Snow Enigmas that have solid black eyes are just Mack Snow Enigmas. Mack Snow Eclipse Enigmas can be called Black Holes ,or BEE's, or Mack Snow Eclipse Enigmas.

I think your issue is the Black eyes. I have been reading that a lot of Snow X Snow crosses are turning up with Solid/Snake black eyes. So unless the Father is Het Eclipse as well you would not be able to produce a Blackhole with that pairing. As Mike R said he has produced amimals with similar eye traits that turned to normal traits after a bit of time. So only time will tell on these guys.

A BEE (black eyed enigma) is actually a eclipse enigma. Mack enigmas somehow get solid eyes without the eclipse gene at times, and that is what you are seeing from that genetic cross.

B.E.E and MS B.E.E(blackhole) can't be made from that cross.

there is only one problem with that there were only 3 made in the world last year. i have one , there is another one here in the US (right preacherman), and the third one was sent to europe and and was part of a large group of animals that were stollen from A&M geckos.

i suggest that you never buy from the guy that you got this gecko from and tell the people that lost the animals where you got this gecko. there is a search going on for the animals.

and by the way you cant hatch a black hole or a B.E.E. from that animal because i know the gentics of this gecko and there is no eclipse in there (right miamimike)

WOW though, that is a nice pairing. Whatdo you do, if that gecko is the stolen gecko? Is there any way to prove that?
