Too much condensation

Using vermiculite and tried with and without holes but still getting too much condensation and water droplets on the top of the lid. Also the eggs are still a bit soft (3 days old now), what can i do!

Think about switching to perlite. I have never had condensation with that.

Condensation build up is fine as long as the eggs stay dry....

I have never had condensation with both vermiculite and Perlite. I would first make sure your not putting too much water and if that doesn't work then I would try to keep constant temps to prevent it. Maybe a shorter container would help?

You are probably putting to much water in the vermiculite. If that doesn't work then switch to perlite.

I know some makes little tent's/pyramid's and put over the egg so any drops dont hit the egg.

I switched to perlite in the end but i am getting condensation with that also, did the 1 x 0.8 ratio aswell.
