Best Tangs = Urban Geckos.
Hyglo = I'm not 100% certain on what that is.
Red Strips = Without a doubt JMG.

With Tangs, it depends on what you are looking for. Dan has some beautiful Tangerines, Albey has unreal Carrot Tails, TUG has the Tangerine Tornado, and Kelli has the Electric.

Hyglos I would talk to Alberto at A&M Gecko since he poineered the Hyglo.

For Red Stripes I would check with JMG Reptile along with Jermey Letkeys.

hyglo is another name for 'sunglow'...
I don't want to go with anything from TUG... a little too pricey... who was it that had the almost red 90% hyglos?? I want some of em!!

Debbie at Gecko Prince has some awesome tangs as well. But your best start would to be checking out all the GF Sponser sites. Everyones taste is different. For example I may think someones tangs are awesome and you may not like them.

I was just going to add to what Kyle said. There are many line sof high quality tangerines. It really depends what kind your looking for. Like high end carrot tails, body color, ect... For tangs, there are many, such as Albey, UG, Dan ,it goes on, but I cant think of others off the top of my head.

Not to sound rude but you wanna play you gotta pay. You want the best genetics out there but you are complaining about the price. Leos are like any other product out there. You get what you pay for. JMO

One of the Best Sunglo's I have seen is TUG's, Inferno on their Breeders page. Has to be one of the best examples to date. IMO. Awesome looking Leo. Otherwise there are A lot of Breeders who are producing awesome Sunglo's/Hyglo/Hybino or whatever you wanna call them.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. ALL leopard geckos are beautiful in my opinion, and different morphs means something different to each and every one of us. In my opinion, the BEST breeders from around the world are right here on GeckoForums.net, and if a gecko is worth having, keeping, enjoying, and loving... the price-tag is not what's the most important thing.

For most of us, our geckos are NOT inventory items, and we do not cater to the 'disposable pet' mentality. If someone is willing to pay for the gecko they want no matter what the price, then it is worth it... and in most cases those geckos are cared for the most.

After all, it IS about the geckos... right?

I agree the best breeders in the world are hear. That was very well put Marcia. It's all what it's worth to you. But unfortunately the Price tag is a very important factor(wish it wasn't) and effects what are able to buy and work with. If it weren't you wouldn't see all the complaints about the high prices of High End morphs. Thats just the facts of the world. It is about the Gecko thats why we are here, but it's also what you get out of it, I am mean if you got nothing out of it, it wouldn't be worth doing. Wether it be the joy of having a Leo or wanting to produce the next exciting morph. We all have our reasons and are entitled to them. Thats what makes the world such an interesting place. If we all thought and acted the same the world would a boring place. Might be a lot more friendly but very boring.

That's an opinion only because in my opinion, I don't care for TUG lines...

I think Bayside Geckos, Albey, and Hot Geckos have the best Tangs.

It's definately all opinion on best lines and what you're looking for. Kelli, Dan, Jeremy, Mike R (his geckos are nuclear :) ), Bayside, and some others have absolute killer tangs -some more ct or baldy than others, or more red or more orange.
Redstripes-Dan, Jeremy, Kelli, JMG, more, but those are the ones that pop
It is all a matter of opinion and I hate to agree but price as well. Yes what we pay is what we get. But it might not always be the best. Just because any one breeder has high priced sunglows doesn't automatically make them the best-it's what they think they should sell them for. A person could find better or the same from another breeder with great lines at a better price.
And some of the best breeders are here.

I think that rather than looking for top lines, or what are considered by others to be top lines, you should first and foremost look for geckos that appeal to you personally. Of course, make sure the breeder you are buying from has a good reputation for healthy animals.

I think the moral of the story is that none of us can pick out a line for someone else. What we think is a fair price they may not, what we think is a beautiful gecko may not be their taste. You have to look at everyone's available pages and decide for yourself.

Yes, my post was just my opinion. Kellie, Mel, and everybody else hit the nail right on the head. You have to look for yourself, figure out what you want, and decide what you are going to pay for it. All I was trying to do was give you a place to start. But in my opinion you should buy the best animals you can afford. I would rather have a really good pair of leopard geckos, than three okay pair. The other way I think of it, is it cost as much to house, feed, and it takes as much time to clean for a pair of really nice geckos, as it does for a pair of really poor geckos, so you should get what you want. Just my thoughts on the subject.
