Trying to get out?

I noticed today that my leo kept standing up against the glass trying to climb as if she wanted to get out. Is it normal to do this? I hate knowing she isn't happy in there, but I don't know if that is even the reason for it. It isn't like she sees something and is trying to get to it either. It is a blank wall. Any help about this would be appreciated, thanks.

I think reptiles in general just want out, period. It's not because they're unhappy, I'm pretty sure they don't have emotions. Double check the tank temperatures and if they're fine then don't worry about it.

Sounds pretty normal, mine do it sometimes. They do some wierd and funny things, one of the joys of keeping them. Mine like to make a mess, they walk threw their calcium dish and track it everywhere, and when they try to climb up the glass, they get it all over the glass lol. Messy beasts lol

Well, I wouldn't put it that way. They sure don't have any devoloped emotions like humans but I would say they get to a satisfaction (right enviromental conditios, enough room, no potential dangers ahead, full tummy...) / unsatisfaction (unproper conditions, overcrowding, stress, hunger...) state.

Well, that's exactly what I was worried about. I don't want her to be "unsatisfied" and she has much more than she needs. She's eating like there's no tomorrow, going to the bathroom every day, licks calcium throughout the day, temps are good, loves her hides, plays on the log and tree. Everything seems fine. That's why I was asking if her doing that was a sign shes trying to get out, or some other reason I'm not thinking of that I shouldn't even worry about.

Leo's seem to be nosy to me, so maybe she just wants to get ou to explore from time to time.

Lol, I wish she would. As long as she doesn't explore beyond where I take her in my hands. If only she would let me hold her.

It all depends how Dr. Jekal and Mr. Hyde plays for you.

He will play fine. If we lose it will be because of our run defense. He plays great when hes pissed and on the verge of being pulled haha.

And Brian, I hate to say it, but I have a feeling the Colts have your number this time. I hope I'm wrong, but I have a feeling.

I'm from Baltimore so I can't root for the Colt. I would like to see Manning win a super bowl one day just not with the Colts. Plus Brady seems to have "it" in the play offs. Last week wasn't good for him but I think he will bounce back.

Same but i also dont agree with the emotions thing posted above. Everything living besides plants and a couple other things obviously do. Its natural. I don't think its about they want to get out cuz they arent happy, but they want to explore everything they see outside of the tank.

I dont like how she presses against the glass and slides down slamming into her water dish/mealie dish/hide/tile substrate. It's especially painful to watch when she stands on the hide and falls off doing it. I just wish she would be content in there and not be a lil daredevil.

All of mine do this at one point or another, I have a couple that will do this when they see me coming in the room getting ready to feed them and they stop and wait for mealies to fall from heaven.

Our Leo tries to climb out all the time. She knows when it's feeding time and knows that we open the front of the vivarium to feed her. Once she's had a few crickets she'll be up and climbing out. I'll put my hand out and she'll run up my arm and will try and sit on my shoulder! My wife worries that she'll jump off and run away but I was told that they like being in the highest place they can get to. If we don't let her out she'll crawl up the glass for a few minutes and then get bored and climb the plants and walk in her calcium dish and get the calcium everywhere. She's like a 2-year old kid :)
