I get home from work today very happy as my wife had called and told me I had several hatchlings. The one I had wanted to see the most was a Super Snow. When I got home I checked it out and then moved over to check out the Super Hypos. I noticed that right off the bat that there were two hatchlings running around in the cage. Thinking nothing of it until I saw the sibling egg still not hatched. Then I check and none of the other eggs in the container had hatched either. Looking around closer I see there is only one egg that had hatched, then looking at the geckos I see one is regular size and one is like real small. At that point I have to say that they are twins. Although I would have thought they would have looked alike. Any way here they are.

It is hard to tell it in the photo but the one that is the closest is the little one. Will have to try and get a better pic..

Wow Toby thats cool. I can see the closest is a smal one, hopefully it does well. I think someone else on here had twins that didnt make it. Yours looks well though!

maybe with time they both will look alike... i am thinking that the littlest one is like a premie compared to the other...the littlest one did not get as much nutrition as the other one did... I am hoping the little one pulls thru!
i am rooting for both of them specially the little one.. i too was a premie...3 months early..

keep us posted!

very cool! As far as coloring I'm betting it was 2 eggs that were fertilized and then mom's body made a mistake and only made one shell....so they would still have different genetic makeups.

Great observation. They both look nice and alert.

Very cool! The larger one looks really good, the smaller one looks a bit weak but you never know! They are strong little babies for sure! Good luck, keep us updated.

Also- twins don't always look alike by the way. :) There's Faternal (Look similar but not the same) and Identical (look the same).
