Please pardon my ignorance on this subject

I fed Presley yesterday, and just now I found what can only be called puke. It was a small egg shaped pod of undigested mealies. I lifted his warm hide and he seemed lethargic. He let me pick him up with no hassles (usually tries to run). He seems to just want to keep his eyes closed. I put a mealie right in front of him...just to see, and he wasn't interested in it at all. Should I take him to a vet first thing tomorrow? It's been so long since I owned a leo, I forgot a lot.

Temps are normal, havent changed. He's the only leo I have. And he hasnt been subjected to anything that would be toxic to him

Sometimes they eat too much and then they puke. It's a little (just a little) worrisome that he's lethargic, but you may have woken him up. Leave him alone for a little while and then check on him again. If he's still lethargic by tomorrow consider calling the vet, but he may go back to "normal" pretty soon. Maybe he's a little freaked out after puking.

Thank you for your fast reply and advice. I'll make sure to check him as soon as I get home from work in the morning

Ok, guess I jumped the gun. He seems fine and dandy now. Not lethargic at all, he ate, and no more vomit. Whew, I feel like a new parent...jumping at every sneeze and sniffle haha

Regurgitation can be really stressful. Glad to hear he's feeling better! We've had a few geckos ever the years who's food intake we've had to monitor. Most geckos will eat until they're full then quit bit the occasional few just don't always know when to stop.

Thank you. One of the reasons I was worried was because he has "meal time." I dont leave meal worms in the tank at all times. I guess he could have just eaten too much for his belly to handle when I fed him though
