i have a raptor male thats inexperienced he notices the girls at first shakes his tail and nibbles them a bit and then walks away and does nothing else. Female is ovulating and not rejecting him either. should i cool him to see if that will help i have no other tremper male for my tremper girls. Thanks for any advice. all my other males are fine with breeding that i have bred thusfar other than a young one wants to breed but wants to breed the females head. lol. well at least hes trying just wrong area lol.

if he is shaking his tail and nibbling he is most likely going to breed her. leave them together until you see egg production. if you have several females rotate him. he will figure out what to do :)

i had a male that tried to mate my females head LOL

Spike tried to do that before he learned. LOL. They're so funny. Anyways, I agree with Robin, he'll eventually figure out what to do. It's instinctual for them.

yeah this is the second time this season i have tried to breed him. should i put him in her cage or his cage. depending on the girl i may put her in his cage or vice versa since some of my girls are whack lol if i mess with them too much there goes my chances of them wanting to breed with the boys they get pissed and bite them lol. i will try them again tomorrow.
