Holy cow are they thin. :-/ I agree with Mel that fecals should be done. They don't look good.

Also, is the monitor housed with the geckos???

The monitor is housed alone.

Almond and Pit are the only ones that had ever bred. I had a gram scale and Almond was 40g before mating, so she had lost a lot of weight, or she may have cites, since she can eat 20 waxworms and be fat until they digest. Pit got gravid, because I was uncareful housing her with Mile. She was 38 g. I was too lazy and didn't seperate them after cleaning her cage.

Overnight, I have analyzed myself and how I am raising them.

To me, I am doing nothing wrong. So I just got someone to take them to the vet for me. The pet store person. Idk if I could trust him, but it is worth a shot. I feed them waxies, and crickets. They do not accept superworms or pinkies. And they literally eat their calcium in bites. So that may be a problem too.

I believe that they had parasites or somewhat at the pet shop. I was young when I got them 6 years ago, and didn't know about any of that. I knew something was wrong with mine when I saw leos at another pet shop. I buy mine from there now.

I'll let you know how it goes, because I really do care about them and I know that they are kinda thin. They never get past that weight hardly, so something may be wrong.

They are housed accordingly to where I got them. The ones I got from the good pet store are housed with each other--Chip, the snow and the blizzard.

I really feel bad for them being like this, really. I am not a neglectful person to them and I love them. I really expected all of this, and I did need comments. That's why I posted their pics. I really try.

They got in at 10 when the vet opened and just got out and going home. I kept in touch with the man on my cell phone, so he called me throughout the appointment, which was really nice of him.

There is good news and bad news in this.

The good news is none of them have parasites. The bad news is that Pit and Fizz had them in the past and that would have an everlasting effect on them. Pit must had had them as a baby, he said, because she is suffering from long term effects. I did not have her as a baby, but got her at the age of two along with Almond. I sent along a pic of Fizz when I first got her, and the vet is surprised at how she looks today, and in that pic, he could tell that she must had had it. As an effect, they have grew up to be smaller geckos, but they can get fatter, just not as fat as the ones I see here.

Almond's tail will never get fat. I guess sometime before i got her, her tail fell off, and came back crooked, wrinkled and deformed. There was no signs of malnutrition or dehydration after tests. She appeared well-fed and hydrated. How her tail is, it cannot store fat and stuff, so she needs to eat like a human does, since she cannot store fat and water.

The vet was confused of why half of mine were kinda skinny and the other half was fat with fat tails. I said because they both came from different pet stores, and they both had different care. If I knew they were malnourished, I would had never bought them--be careful of where you get your pets. I bought all 12 to the vet. Chip, Mile, the bottom two , and two others are much better looking. Mile, which I got from a big pet store, is just small, but he is fat.

What is most recommended is that I get them on a very fattening diet. I do not gut load my crickets and that is a fault of mine. It is also a fault of mine that I am not big on waxies and pinkies. Waxies are 10 cents a worm--50 for 5.99, but I'll do this for them. He also recommended that I make a feeding chart and keep records of their feedings. If I do this, I may notice the effects.

Weights: (by my memory, should had wrote them down)

Fizz-in her low 20 grams.
Pit-24g
Almond-35g (somehow, thought she was lower)
Mile-30g
Chip-48 g and very aggressive
and the rest were 40 g or over, except for the five month old blizzard, which was 31g.

The money I paid is worth it and I am glad that I could see about my babies.
