Unusual behavior in new gecko

Hi, I just got my second leopard gecko on the first of this month. He seems fine, healthy appetite, plenty comfortable being picked up/ handled when I feed him in the evening, but I noticed he'll stand in place for several minutes, just picking up and putting down one of his front legs. Upon looking closer it looks to me like more of a twitch, almost like he's trying to flick something off or something. Could this just be him getting used to the new substrate or something, or should I get him checked out by a vet?

Make sure there's no stuck shed or little blisters on his feet. One of my geckos, who's nearly 18, tends to get sores on his feet and sometimes he walks around lifting up his feet like he's stepped in something yucky.
