update on the Bee/mack/raptor mix baby. still white, though the eyes have turned a darker red. still not sure what it is.

and last raptor egg to hatch this year. happened to be the red eyed albino PATTERNLESS tremper ORANGE i was hoping for!! although i like the striped and mack RERS and what not that also popped out, this is the only truly patternless baby from this girl this year. keeping it i think

So, do you know yet what the darker babby is, hes cute thats for sure.And hows footloose? LOVE your babbies, they look great. The first girl had some unique markings thats for sure.

thanks! there was somewhere between 25 and 30 that hatched this year. not too many, i lost a lot of eggs early on due to trying a different incubating...thing. switched back to vermiculite and tupperware containers and didnt have a problem there after. i have sold the bulk of the babies, besides my holdbacks and a handful

the dark baby i think is just a really really dark SS tremper blizzard. it honestly doesnt look tremper, but EVERY baby from that project for the last two years has been a tremper (both parents are tremper). i have an aptor that has similar nearly black pigmentation. i keep my babies on the colder side during the summer, so im not sure if that had something to do with it. im hanging onto it either way, i want to do some test breeding to see for sure if its a SS and tremper.
unless you were talking about that funky looking hyper, she turned into a dark hypo, the head pattern broke up, but shes still a favorite of mine
