update on crimped oats

i posted awhile ago asking if i could use crimped oats for horses from a feed store. i bought a 50 pound bag for 10 bucks and blended them up in a blender a little to break open the outer casings. this is a very cheap way to start a large breeding project ! i throw in carrots, potatoes, and tomatoes along with wet paper towels and i have over 100 beetles and over 2,000 pupae right now.

thanks, i started with 5,000 mealworms. some fed to my geckos and some are still mealies. im seriously considering starting a largescale breeding project in my garage which is a 6 car garage, 1200 square feet with 12 foot ceilings.

i would do it, the shortage shouldn't last too much longer but if you can get a site set up quickly and navigate the red tape involved with shipping and starting a business it would be a great time to get into it.
