So here's the probable dreamsicle baby at 10 weeks old...this was from a mack raptor x dreamsicle pairing. The other hatchling unfortunately passed away right before pipping...but looked similar to this one at birth.

Here's two of him when he was born...

And...here he is now...

I know what I think he is...what do you all think?

i dont think it looks light enough to be a dreamsicle. though im not saying it isnt, but just from my experience all the dreamsicles ive seen have been quite a bit lighter due to snow. But of course everyone knows mack snow can vary so much, so could be both nova or dreamsicle still.
sorry didnt really help.

Well that sucks. This whole time I thought it was a dream. :(

Here's dad, who was SOLD to me as a dreamsicle...I was told he was proven. He's in better shape than he was then.

And here's mom, who is a mack raptor.

Wow, that dream is beautiful! And it had quite a bit of color as a hatchling, much more color than my baby in question. Makes me wonder...

Maybe the only way to really find out is to test breed him when he's of age. Which means...more waiting. LOL.

Yup. The only way to know for sure is to breed it out. I certainly wouldn't say that by looking at it that it is NOT a Dreamsickle. I have had some Dreamsickles that had more color on them than Novas I have had or seen.

Anything worth doing right is worth waiting for :main_yes: besides it gives you something to look forward to. Take lots of pix along the way so you can refer back to them the next time. :main_robin:
