Okay so here are a few updated pics of my leo's, pinky and snow. I apologize for the quality because i don't really want to bother them too much, they are still a bit skittish, I've had them for a week now and I have all my husbandry correct, cool side is usually mid 70's to low 80's hot side is right at 98f for both enclosures.

On to my question, Pinky hasnt been eating at least when i feed she doesnt eat, not i noticed her mealworm bowl was missing one and i left one waxworm in there for her to eat as well that was gone too, this morning i believe i found a regurgitated waxworm, she is defecating fine, no runny stool. I want to know if she's looking thin? I do not have a scale yet so I cannot weigh her.

Snow on the other hand is eating well, he's just a little jumpy when i put my hand in the cage to clean/change water. He's struck at me once but no contact was made, so I'm leaving them both alone for another week and then i'll try handling some more. I'm also hoping that pinky starts consuming and digesting her meals.

Here's pinky in her moist hide, i think she might be getting ready for a shed, perhaps thats why she's not eating?

Are they both looking well? I havent cared for these beautiful creatures in 6 years as I tend to get extremely attached and stress myself out too much...yet again, its happening already. Thanks for replies in advance guys. I love the community here.

I can honestly say, that she is the smallest little leo I've ever had, I've never hatched my own, I know she's at least 3 wks old, probably 1mo. old. The pet store i bought her from had her for 2wks,supposedly, got her from an outside breeder in Ohio, I've had her for 1wk now.

Are babies always this temperamental?

What size are your feeders? Too small and some leos just won't show interest; too big and a small leo may not be able to handle them. Was she on mealies or crickets before you got her?

A week is still within the "settling" period I suppose - if she's not acting or looking unusual in any way I'd maybe give her a few more days and see if she doesn't take food then?

She is a wee little thing. I've never had hatchlings or subadults, so I can't comment on their typical behavior.

I was told she was eating mealworms and pinhead crickets, I got both of them together, they were housed together in a small plastic kritter carrier filled with calcium sand, and about 20 pinhead crickets in there with them, no heat pad under the carrier and a UVB above them. Needless to say when i saw their current setup I HAD to take them!!

Both of their stools were sandy the first few days, now they look normal, I just wish she would show some interest in some kind of food, I've offered pinheads, mealies, and waxworms to her.

As I stated before she did manage to eat a mealworm - regurgitated it, and then a few days later a waxworm - also regurgitated. But she is still defecating.
My temps are fine I check them in the morning before work and as soon as I get home.

I might just be worrying too much.

If the worms were a reasonable size, I've got nothing. :( My one leo came to me a reasonably established adult in his home tank, and he's mercifully never been ill in my care, so I couldn't say if these are typical symptoms of "new-tank" nervousness or something else. Hopefully she starts eating properly in a day or so.

She looks a little thin but i wouldnt worry unless she becomes lethargic and continues to regurgitate. If so id take her to a vet asap.

what do regurgitated mealworms look like? My old leo Spot *RIP* threw up baby food (we had to feed him that while he was sick) and it was wattery, but one time i found this cluster of undigested mealworms in Rosalie's cage. Rosalie is my baby leo.

I'll hope against it, but if I find another one, I'd be glad to post a pic up of them...lol.

I think they are regurgitated, I'm 100% sure they were undigested, but they could have passed via bowel movement. not sure.
