Updates on my Het Females

So I was checking them out today and weighing them and all. I noticed some white spots on them. What do you guys think?

side of one the lighter one..

one side of the darker one (blurry picture but she wouldn't stay still)

and the other side (blurry picture again she wouldn't stay still)

edit: are those what are considered piebald in fattys?

nope, thats actually pretty typical on fatties... here's a couple of my hets...

again, piebald is a term that VMS coined on some of their fatties that were showing a bit more white, what I would consider to be even closer to a true piebald ( piebald animals of leucistic ) is thew white outs currently popping up...

yea. no their not piebald as cory mentioned. I just thought it was pretty cool. I haven't noticed it before.

so upon closer inspection my het male also displays the white.

however my 100% normal phase female does not exibit it at all.

perhaps the white spots are an indication of being het?

does anybody have any non-hets with white spots?

it looks to me like most hets i have seen have been considerably lighter in color, and have much more patterns than 100% normal phase.

JMG's will keep all the white once for this year, but 2008 the will bring some for sale, and i've been waiting for them in a year allready!

I hope my hets will be as varigated as yours, Cory! They are amazing!
