so im running really low on money right now does anyone know how long a leo can go without food before it starts to harm them im out and dont have a single dime
I'm sorry you're in such a bad state and I'm really encouraging people to try and be helpful rather than critical. Adult geckos can go quite awhile without eating as long as they have water. Here are 2 examples:
--I have a few adult (males) who don't eat for months in the winter. They are fine and one weighs over 95 grams.
--a number of years ago I had a 10-day trip to make across the country and had one gecko that wouldn't eat unless she was hand fed. I had a house sitter, but no one who would hand feed the gecko. He did agree to keep the water dish filled. She was fine when I got back.
If you have babies and juvies, they really need to eat more often to keep going. If they're not fed for a week, they won't die, but it won't be good for them.
I wonder if anyone in your area can contribute/loan some food, especially folks that are feeding a huge number of geckos and won't miss a few feeders.
If you're in a temporary financial bind, some of the info above may be useful to help you get through it. If you turn out to be in a more long-lasting financial bind, it may be best to re-home your geckos, but that's up to you.
