UTH NEED help asap

i juss got my uth im switching from light fixture, i dont want to stick the heat pad to the tank and saw a thread with ideas that other people do but can't find it can anyone help

I tried to find a way to tape it, but no matter what, it sags down and does not press firmly enough against the tank. I think you are going to need to stick it to get the full potential.

I would just stick it to the bottom of the tank. Another thing that works, is to stick the UTH to a piece of glass, and put that under the tank, that way you can move it to other tanks if needed. You can usaully gently peel them off and restick them, if they wont stick good, use some electrical tape.

You can also put some kind of shim under the middle of it so it won't sag. I use a tile or a domino. Just don't cover the entire pad or else the heat won't have anywhere to go.
