Hi all,

I'm going away on vaction tomorrow (Thursday-Monday)... We are going to feed my gecko a nice big meal before we go and I know he will be just fine, but I would feel bad to not leave him with a snack for that long... Does anyone have experience with Repashy Grub Pie??? My gecko won't eat anything that isn't moving and he only eats when I feed him one bug at a time (not in a bowl). We have previously left him on a weekend with a bowl of mealworms and it seemed as though he didn't want anything to do with them. I usually only feed my grub pie to my feeder insects... any advice? Thanks :)

Given how long my geckos go without eating at all, I don't see any need for extra snacks. I've never tried grub pie, but you can always try it knowing that if it doesn't work, it won't matter.

How did your gecko survive during your weekend? I'm going on a very short family holiday, and I can't take my gecko with me. So, I don't know what I should do.

I’ve had a similar situation with my gecko not wanting to eat unless it’s moving. When I left for a few days, I tried leaving mealworms, but it seemed like they weren’t touched either. As for Repashy Grub Pie, I’ve only ever used it for my feeder insects too, but it might be worth a shot if you’re still thinking about it. And for those planning longer trips, flying business class can make travel a lot more comfortable, especially if you're away for a while.
